Empty Mailbox - Normally this would not be the case.
Most websites of this type attract from time to time "spammers" who
compromise the system, but once they are spotted are removed ASAP.
Unfortunately removing them from our system also removes any spam mail
that they may have sent whilst being a member. This then eliminates you
receiving that spam mail.
We have tried many different ways of dealing with this, but to allow
members the freedom of signing up and having immediate access to the
site presents this kind of problem. Rest assured, we are looking at
different ways to stop this happening and thank you for your patience.
Don't forget, if you don't want to receive email notifications you can
turn this feature off/on in your settings - Notifications/Private
Messages.
